NCS blends funds from Federal, State, and Private Funding Sources to offer comprehensive housing
rehabilitation assistance for Owner-Occupants who live in Single-Family Housing. We partner with
several agencies, including the City of Rochester, to attract as much funding as possible to our region.
Every grant subsidy is unique and has its own qualifications and regulations. All grant
programs are income-qualified, and household income often must be lower than 50% or 90% of
the Area Median Income (AMI). Grant subsidies cover only Health, Safety, and Environmental hazards
and cannot be used for cosmetic renovations.
